During the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, our lab partnered with the Ithaca Children’s Garden to put together at-home science kits. This collaborative project was funded by the National Science Foundation.

Members of the lab participated in various aspects of this project. Over 1000 seedlings were grown, seed science experiments were packed into baggies, curriculum was created, flyers were designed, kits were packed, and delivered to the Ithaca, NY School District and Trumansburg, NY School District. The kits were then distributed to students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.

I personally developed the curriculum and designed the flyers for the kits, which contained experiments and information for students K-12. I also helped with packaging and delivering the kits.
